The Research Question:
Does History Repeat Itself?
The question is as old as historiography itself. The simple answer is no. But upon closer inspection, the course of history often unfolds in recurring, archetypal patterns and cycles. This research project posits that through a new, interdisciplinary lens, we can discern a deeper dynamic behind the apparent chaos of historical events. The goal is to derive valuable, often surprising insights for our present and the challenges of the future.
The Methodology – An Interdisciplinary Synthesis
The Lens: Cycles as a Mirror of Contemporary History
The goal of this project is not to prove rigid, deterministic laws or to make future predictions. Quite the contrary: just as the exact total configuration of the planets in a dynamic, chaotic system never repeats itself, history does not repeat itself one-to-one. What does repeat, however, are patterns, thematic analogies, and archetypal principles. Viewing contemporary history through the neutral, mathematical lens of astronomical-celestial mechanical cycles serves as a tool for pattern recognition. It is a method for better understanding the synchronicity of external developments and internal, psychological archetypes, thereby gaining a deeper insight into the inherent dynamics of historical processes—and ultimately, into the soul of humanity.
The Tools & Quality Assurance
- The Cycloscope Method: A method I invented for visualizing complex multiple cycles, which allows for the visual capture of the »quality of time.«
- AI as a Sparring Partner: A collaborative partnership with AI (Google Gemini 2.5 Pro with »Deep Research«), which serves as an unbiased research assistant. The AI accesses current scientific databases, with all sources verified by me for reliability.
- Quality Assurance: My crucial principle is the avoidance of confirmation bias. I do not primarily use historical facts to confirm astrological theses. Conversely, historical events serve to critically question, sharpen, and refine the interpretation of archetypal cycles.
Case Study – The »Uranus Code«: A 250-Year Metacycle of Transformation
A current focus of my research is on a roughly 250-year quadruple meta-cycle of the celestial bodies Uranus, Chiron, Nessus, and Pluto that I discovered. This project examines the striking parallels between the past recurrences of this cycle and the major technological and societal upheavals in human history.
The particular relevance to our present lies in the extremely compressed recurrence of this cycle, which unfolds in three phases:
- Phase 1 (since 2022): The Nessus return and its correlation with themes such as »fake news,« the questioning of truth, and old victim narratives.
- Phase 2 (2027/28): The upcoming, tension-filled phase, marked by the square of Chiron and Pluto.
- Phase 3 (2031/32): The peak of the cycle with the fourth return of Uranus to its discovery position, indicating a new, revolutionary wave of technological and societal innovations—the heart of the AI age.
Outlook – An Invitation to Interdisciplinary Discourse
This research is not a closed system with final answers, but an open laboratory. The goal is to gain knowledge, not to proclaim dogmas. I therefore cordially invite other thought leaders, researchers, and strategists—especially from the fields of sociology, history, and political science—to a critical and constructive dialogue. I am always open to supplementary perspectives and willing to share my methodology and archived deep research reports with serious partners to jointly gain new perspectives on the hidden patterns of our time.
If you are interested in an unbiased, interdisciplinary exchange, I look forward to your contact.
